I like reading, watching some tv (yes, some sports, especially football), walking, daytrips, some travel (like to the beach, other localities, etc.). She made sacrifices to provide me opportunities for some "proper", and some not-so-proper, instruction in some of the vast arrays of the arts, techniques and theories of music. I enjoy playing a few instruments...purely for my own, personal enjoyment. I enjoyed being part of, and being instructed in, several types of bands in High . I tried playing in a few "Rock bands" earlier on, but found that I was not "into it", enough, to pursue "public performing" any further. I very much admire those who do, though, on any level or any genre...including . Hey...I'm writing a book here...this was not my intention, so... I'm posting on , mainly, because I do not "go out" much, anymore, by choice. I've been divorced for over 4 years. My "circle" of friends (few) and acquaintances (many) has grown smaller as a result of time, marriage, having a (1), divorce (and the resultant reduction and/or alienation of some of the "circle", due to the attrition that accompanies a divorce). I don't "hit on" any of them, out of respect. I've responded to a few nuances from several, female, "circle members"...and have discovered that, in addition to the high probability of being "awkward", in varying degrees...my female friends should remain just that, friends. As for my acquaintances, the passage of time dictates...change, and I'll leave it at that.
